1. I can not speak English well.

Some people can have the English language requirement waived. For example:

A. If you are at least 50 years old at the time you apply and have had a green card for at least twenty years

B. If you are at least 55 years old and have had a green card for fifteen years

C. If you have a medical disability that prevents you from learning English.

2. I have been arrested.

In general if you have an arrest record you should consult with us or another attorney. The immigration takes into account the seriousness of the crime and how long ago it happened.

3. My reason for obtaining the green card no longer exists

.For example you got a green card through employment but you don't work there.Or you got a green card through marriage and you are divorced. The immigration understands that relationships don't last forever but they are looking for cases that should never have been approved.

4. I lost my Certificate of Naturalization.

You can apply for a new one using form N-565.In the meantime you can use your passport as evidence of citizenship while you wait.
